Over the course of 2021, IES has provided insight to our HR Network members on how the pandemic is affecting employers and our workforce through our Perspectives papers. The last 18 months have brought about the biggest changes to how we work in our generation, as millions of workers have been forced into homeworking, found themselves furloughed or needed to change career.

HR practitioners have been under pressure throughout to find ways to support their staff during times of chronic uncertainty. IES has had a role to play, sharing latest thinking, good practice and evidence to help inform decision making. We are delighted to share with you this series of papers, written over the last year which cover some of the big issues facing HR.
